The Team-
A little about us as a team. Rob & I have worked together for many years, under the umbrella of another business banner. Since having our daughter in 2019, we began soul searching and wanting to pursue a business we were both truly passionate about and could call our own.
We both have the mind set of buying high quality Australian made (when possible) instead of buying cheap Chinese rubbish 3-4x, this led us to leather crafting. Something we can be proud of, something we can make with our own hands and put all our thought and passion into to make the high quality goods all Aussies deserve.
Our Standards-
We take pride in the opportunity we have to be able to create beautiful leather products for Australians. You can be assured that any product you receive from our workshop has been through Robs or my own hands during the creation process.
With quality in mind using only the highest quality raw materials is our only option our main leather choice right now is Badalassi "Pueblo". It has a subtle smell and soft feel also the unique colour range and textured pattern is ideal for creating a wide range of beautiful Leather Wallets, Phone Wallets and a wide range of matching gifts.
With the assistance of our C02 Laser we have the freedom to cost effectively create new product designs and test alot of crazy ideas, which is why you will see lots of weird and whacky things popping up on our website over the years to come. 🤪
The Name-
Deciding on our business name was something very important to us it had to be original and have meaning. We literally spent months on this one task alone racking our brains every day, during that time we came up with a lot of weird and wonderful names. None seemed to fit and be as relatable to us as Noctide though.
Noctide Leather is inspired from both of our personalities. Rob is a nocturnal being, who finds his strides and stays motivated and focused well into the depths of the night usually having a break gaming. Whereas I long to be washed in and out with the change of tides at the beach at any available opportunity. More so we both love beach adventures and the power of the ocean. Noctide.
